Class Goals:
Students will be challenged to hear and do the words of Jesus by...
- Understanding the historical, literary, and theological aspects of the Sermon on the Mount
- Considering various viewpoints on the Sermon's contemporary significance
- Applying the Sermon to their cultural context and personal lives
Who:
The class is open to anyone who can commit to attend six of the seven classes and dedicate ~2 hours/week to reading and assignments.
